Our Afternoon Mini-Retreat Features
- A truly unique 60-minute yoga class that focuses on discovering your personal connection with the natural world.
- An intimate, nature-connecting mindfulness meditation led by Nutritionist and Transformational Coach Dawn Preisendorf that opens our hearts and minds to the abundance of nature
- A refreshing guided hike around the reservoir, with options for a gentle or a more strenuous route. Feel free to opt-out of hiking and relax in the shade instead.
- An elegant, fresh organic farm-to-table meal, hand-selected and lovingly prepared by our fabulous natural chef and enjoyed under the twilight sky (Paleo and Vegetarian options available).

Dawn Preisendorf, MA, NC, CHWC, Functional Nutritionist / Mindful Nature Guide / Wellness Coach
As a Functional Nutritionist and Transformational Coach, Dawn helps people uncover the root causes of why they’re not feeling as fabulous as they’d like, and harness the healing power of food to reclaim health, vitality and balance. Dawn most often works with people who are struggling with low energy, stubborn belly fat, or persistent digestive distress…and want to take charge of their health. She takes an integrative approach and go well beyond simply recommending what to eat.
Dawn began studying nutrition and holistic health 15 years ago. Unwinding years of living an over-stressed, under-nourished life in the corporate trenches, she worked through her own health crash and found vitality again. She followed this personal experience with formal education, and earned a master’s degree in holistic health education and nutrition. She is also a Certified Wellcoach, and is in the process of completing her board certification in holistic nutrition.
